I made it in about 3 minutes the other morning and that includes extra time for Kennedy to complain that this is a boring craft.I love it though!.I had this old scarf that I really liked, but never really wore and it had all these little strings pulled out of it.
It just looked ratty..I cut off the two ends of the scarf and strategically placed them on this old stained pillow I had so that it looked like they were kind of draping over casually, but also so that the frays and yucky bits were all hidden.
Then I just hot glued it in place!.
Now it’s the perfect cozy-looking pillow to sit on a chair by our mud room door next to where all the coats and boots and real scarves are.. Quick, easy, and free!I find if I wait for the right day to jump in and spend a whole day moving mountains, it just never happens.
But 15 minutes a day, or even 5 minutes.So I’m taking this idea outside..
I think during the Summer, I was looking for that perfect day to get outside and work in the hot sun, creating memories and getting stuff done.With Kennedy home though, that never happened.
